Roar! jam camp - a lion king adventure
This January, Jam Camp is ready to ROAR!
Over three days, your Jim Jammer will make the most incredible african art, learn a stampede (a very well-behaved one), drum along to songs from across Africa, and sing their way through a Lion King-inspired mini-musical. On Friday afternoon, the whole pride takes the stage for family and friends.
No experience needed. Just bring the roar.
What they'll do...
Sing — favourite songs from the movie, alongside traditional African songs
Dance — animal walks, a savanna processional with props and puppets, and a finale they'll be performing in the lounge room for weeks
Art — Prop and mask making characters from the movie and other tribal treasures
Drama — character and team games along the way
Drumming — Feel the rhythm with african djembe drumming every day
Each day builds one part of the story, so by Friday it all comes together on stage.
